数年前にバロック音楽に目覚め、東京でバロックバイオリンとチェンバロを習っていました。
沖縄でも古楽器の先生は見つかるだろうと思っていたら、やはり皆無に近い。
最近は新コロの影響でバロックバイオリンは遠隔レッスン、リモート演奏会も可能になったそうで、PC環境があればどこにいても専門の先生のレッスンを受けられそうです。

チェンバロを沖縄まで運ぶ手配にも苦労しました。私のはヴァージナルタイプで小さな棺桶型なので、引っ越し業者や宅配業者に問い合わせたのですが、扱ったことのない（扱いたくない）楽器ということで断られました。
15~30万円くらい出せば、専門業者が運ぶことも可能でしたが、トラック1台チャーターしてフェリーに載せて・・・となんか大袈裟だし予算オーバーなので、飛行機の受託荷物扱いで運ぼうとしたところ、航空貨物便の方が安全に運べることをスカイマークのスタッフの方から教えてもらいました。
で、羽田空港のJAL CARGOまで楽器を車で運び、那覇空港で受け取り、無事に新居まで運んだのでした。
運賃は大きさや重さによって違いますが、私のは25000円くらいだったかな（脚は外して宅急便で別送）。
海を越えて大きな楽器を運ぶ場合は、航空貨物便が便利ですよ。
ヴァジ子は湿気が多いと鳴らない音があるなど、メンテナンスが大変。
また、夜中にヴァジ子のそばでホラー映画を観ていたら、スプラッター場面でいきなりバチン！と弦が切れたことがありました。びっくりして切れたのでしょう。とても繊細な子です。

I started playing baroque music a few years ago and was learning baroque violin and harpsichord in Tokyo. I expected to find a teacher of old musical instruments in Okinawa, but it was almost none.
Recently due to the influence of covid-19, It seems that remote lessons of baroque violin and remote concerts are now possible, so if you have a computer, you can take lessons from a professional teacher wherever you are.

I had a hard time carrying the harpsichord to Okinawa. My harpsichord, the virginal, is a small casket type, so I asked the mover and the courier but they refused it because they had never (or didn't want to) handle it.
If I paid about 150,000-300,000 yen, it could have been carried by a professional company, but I had to charter one truck and put it on the ferry... it was a big idea and it was over my budget. When I asked to carry it as checked baggage on an airplane, Skymark staff told me that a cargo flight can be carried safely. So, I had my instrument carried by car to JAL CARGO at Haneda Airport, picked it up at Naha Airport, and carried it safely to my new house.
The fare depends on the size and weight. I guess it was about 25,000 yen (the removed legs are sent separately by courier).
Freight aviation is convenient for carrying large musical instruments across the sea.
When the humidity is high, the sound is hard to make. The maintenance is difficult.
When I was watching a horror movie by my virginal in the middle of the night, she suddenly cut one of her strings. She must have been surprised at the splatter scene. She is very delicate and cute.
